Urban is for me a great piece of luck. While I enjoy the quietness of the country and small towns, I choose to live in the hurly burly of the city where there is too much to absorb. The Los Angeles area food explosion, growing out of waves of immigration, changes in neighborhoods, and young folk growing up within a polyglot world – unafraid therefore to dive into multiple food cultures -- has me in a constant state of joy.
